What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Fix mailbox bug or bills bug
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to pay bills and bills are also stuck in sims inventory. Unable to pay on phone or computer.
What do you expect to see? Options to pay bills when they are due.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I have MODS but they are all updated and even when removed the issue was still there.
I moved out of the current home, separated the family, repaired game and made sure the MODS were not an issue and the bills are stuck in my sims inventory and I am unable to pay bills through the letter in the inventory, over the phone or on the computer. Can someone help? I also switched households and they were able to pay bills!

@RedRidingHood22 At which point did you remove the mods/cc ? Before or after they got stuck ?

I removed the MODS after I noticed the issue to which the issue still occurred after I tested it again w/o the MODS. And I’m living on a regular residential Lot Type 50 x 40 in San Sequoia.
- @RedRidingHood22 If the bills are already stuck in your inventory, I'm not sure if removing mods would remove them.
Could you test another household with no mods/cc on a backup of your save ?I actually did another test. I moved my entire sim family out of the current home and onto an empty lot. I was then able to pay the bills in my sims inventory for the empty lot and moved back into the old lot and my bills were paid and power on.
