[W] Werewolves turned in-game have monochromatic faces

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.60
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Only missing Dream Home Decorator, My Wedding Stories, and a few kits and stuff packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Turn a normal sim into a werewolf in live mode through cursed bite.
What happens when the bug occurs? Instead of having pink ears and a black nose, the entire face is one color.
What do you expect to see? Pink ears, black noses, and all other color details you find on werewolves created in CAS.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Installed Werewolves

As stated in the form, the face is entirely monochromatic. If you change the fur color, it will change the face color, but it's still only one color. Eye color is unaffected.

  • On PC. So, admittedly, I cannot say for certain that this will work for console players too.

@WingedSnek Did you also have the ear issue or just the nose ? Going to move this to the PC thread if it was just the nose.
  • I had the issue with the ears and the mouth as well. Randomizing the nose and, thus, eventually being able to select a nose color made the game re-add the color to all body parts.

  • Thanks for the link! I shall add some information in that thread too to see whether my workaround works for others. The only time my werewolf turnt monochromatic was when she got werebies in the underground tunnels. Werewolves created in CAS or via cheat do not have that issue in my game.

On PC it is like that, so maybe it's also applicable to console: You click on the nose. Then CAS shows you the several options of nose types you have in form of a list. This list shows up inside of a framed window which is headlined as „nose“. In the right corner of the window at height of the headline should be a dice symbol. When you click on the dice the game randomizes the specific features, in this case the nose. I needed to randomize the noses twice, because the first time around the colors showed up again but the list of colors you can pick from was weirdly overlapping with the selection of the nose types, meaning the layout was corrupted. Otherwise you can randomize the nose once, switch to a different body part and then back to the nose, since after „closing“ the framed window and opening it again the game should sort the layout out by itself.

By any chance was your werewolf turned by Greg?

I've had two werewolves turned by Greg (by starting fights with him) and both had this bug. But when one of those werewolves turned another Sim into a werewolf, they had the black textures on their nose, eyes, and the correctly-coloured ears.

I'd bet good money Greg is the culprit here.

My pics: the black werewolf is the one turned by Greg. The brown one with the pink nose is the one that first werewolf turned.
