[WORKAROUND] Time Control Keys stop working after a while

Seemingly Randomly, the 0-1-2-3 keyboard shortcuts to control the speed of time passing do not work. 3/5 of the last times I played it did not work. I had read elsewhere that hitting esc or going into build mode would fix it, but those solutions have not worked for me.

    I'm having the same issue! my rotate buttons work just fine, but i can't get the numbers to work to change the speed.
