Mine would be
Baby 0-1
Toddler 2-4
Child 5-9
Tween 10-12
Teen 13-19
Young adult 20-35
Adult 36-60
Elder 61+

I wish there was a mod for The Sims 3, That allowed actual aging, Because the Ford family, This was in my old game before, I lost it to hard drive issues, The Ford children where the same age as the Lloyd Children, Both the Ford Family, and the Lloyd family arrived in my game at the same time, Andrew was supposed to be 1 year older than his wife Laura, He could have easily been 20, and Laura could have easily been 19, But Katherine on the other was supposed to be 1 year older than Gareth Katherine could easily been 20, and Gareth could easily been 19.

Real-world definitions of Young Adult are usually 18-39 or 40, adult 40-65, elder 65+.

By age 30 I didn't consider myself to be a young adult. Many children among several southern tribes considered me to be an elder at age 40.

as for me toddler would then be the reschool children also
and middle age be perfect becouse women might not be able to give birth any more but they don't go around like elderly sims.... so yes I need middleage almost as much as toddlers

your missing the
45-65 - when your kids are growing up and your not getting new if your a women, but your still "young"

They skip preschool, preteen, quinquagenarian so far.

To add to @charcoug idea to make this work they would have to add some sort of calendar with weeks and months to make things work properly unless they say one sim year would be 28 sim days so just in case they do have the seasons they can make each season 1 week long.

@JPG619 Guys, it would take forever to play The Sims in the way you are suggesting.
