Am I the only one who doesn't mind no open world in sims 4?

I actually had my sims out and about more in Sims 3 than ever before, but I'm an outdoors lover IRL, so having my sims walk the dog or bike to the pool appealed to me, probably more than to other people. I also liked having the whole town visible, even if that meant rabbit holes. I had plenty of fun in Sims2 before 3 came out, but I found I didn't want to go back once I moved on. Since I obviously haven't played Sims 4 yet, I have no idea how I'll feel about it.
