Am I the only one who doesn't mind no open world in sims 4?

Lack of rabbit holes is pleasing, so no, for me not having an open world isn't a big issue. The only time that I would go to the place of employment or to the school in the sim 3 was to get the sim to jog or ride their horse home. I'm pretty sure that I can accomplish the same thing with jogging at the park or in the neighbourhood. Taking a quick trip around the house a couple of times will work too. As for the loading screen, it just gives me time to very quickly, very quickly grab that thing to eat or to drink from the fridge. I like how the sims 4 looks and the way we push and pull our sims to make them into what we want them to be. We'll have to wait and see how I feel about the game itself until after it launches. :)
