An alternative to sales to boost sales

What if instead of all the pack being on sale next time, some wouldn't be on sale but instead have content added to them. stuff that didn't quite make it into the the pack, or ideas the community had for the pack post release that would of made excellent additions that the dev team didn't consider/think would be as popular.though I think stuff packs should just be regular sales.

Possible additions(though there are plenty more creative yet simple things they could do):
More aspirations for some of the game packs( e.g.relaxation guru for spa day)
enhanced life-states(better plantsims/aliens)
stuff from older sims game EP's that fit into the pack(like Murphy's beds in university)
retro fit systems from new packs into older ones(eg university club ranks into get together)

You could even rotate it so you only update 1 or 2 packs/sale rather than doing many at once

Pros:
People who already own the packs feel like they get something(Even if they just bought it before the "sale")
more incentive to buy the packs at full price
renews interest in the older packs(esp for those that just skipped over them)
depending on content added, may give nostalgia from previous games
can add extra dot points in features to the packs(marketing!)

Cons:
Dev time used instead of marketing/sales teams
revisiting older stuff and have to pick up when you left off can be hard depending on how bad the coding is
the stuff will be in the packs, not the base game, so doesn't benefit people who don't intend to own those packs

Stuff I would personally add to packs if I could
EP's
Get to work:Improved workdays, improved aliens. Improve shop system to be in line with later packs
Get together: club ranks system from university; i.e. gives senior members extra perks, less or more restrictions
City living: build-able apartments, apartments in the same building not requiring a loading screen
Cats & dogs: add rabbits as a pet, pet careers, possible making them controllable or more influence-able(like from parenting)
Seasons: more weather(windy, hail, dust storms) plant-sim as a full lifestate complete with CAS options
Get famous: Rockstar active career, drum sets, "class" system modified to gigs to allow making a movie take more than one session
Island living: hotel/motel as a business sims could own and operate, allows sims to vacation in any world with one. secret underwater lot
Discover University: masters and PHD's

Game packs:
Outdoor retreat: bigfoot, bigfoot tracking, bigfoot aspiration
SPA day: own able spa's and aspiration
Dineout: abiltiy for currently played sims to leave a review, restaurant aspiration
Vampires:things learned from vampire lore added to notebook, vampire bloodline trait
Parenhood: bunk beds if they decide they are not adding to base game
Jungle Adventure: Bonehilda
Strangerville:
RoM: a few more spells, including toadifaction

thanks for your time and hope this reaches the marketing and sales teams
  • I think it is more than necessary to upgrade older packages or those with little content. It is very frustrating that the game has gone through so many price increases without adding new content to the expansions.

Get to Work is one of the packages that urgently deserves special attention. It has enormous potential, but it is far inferior to the other Eps due to the lack of innovative content. There are many good ideas for improving this package. One of my favorites is the return of The Sims 2 Grocery Store. And of course, innovating in existing stores, to better personalize them.

Currently, they look exactly the same, even if the theme changes. Sims' actions should change, depending on the type of store. If it is a clothing store, let there be private locker room. For example.
It would be a lot of fun to have new interactions with the seller, like asking for fashion tips or checking if the outfit looks good.

It is very shameful for an object to simply disappear into the stock, without any interaction with customers.
Honestly, opening stores on The Sims 4 today is one of the most tedious features of all packages. I even forget that it exists in my game.
