Would be cool, but we already have a whole Stuff Pack about an ice cream machine and everyone would be angry over the devs for holding content to add later in another pack.
Also, I think you can make an ice cream parlor with Dine Out, you just don't need to be the owner and set only ice cream stuff to be buyable.
We would only be lacking a couple of ice cream parlor inspired build and buy items, but its not going to be a problem once they release Katy Perry Sweet Treats 2.0 SP. haha

I used to work as an ice cream scooper (first real life job) and I loved it. I think this would be super fun for the sims, especially on summery hot days and for kids birthday parties or date nights! I do agree that you can essentially make a restaurant with the Cool Kitchen Stuff pack as someone else mentioned, but I do get that it doesn't have all the theme-ing that you're wanting.

I've got one in my game I downloaded from the gallery.

It works as a retail store in which you can buy ice cream, but there are also some free ones you can just take a cone or bowl from. I just made my sims gather there and took the option "grab a bowl together" from the free ones, and they sat down and ate ice cream together. I myself was surprised on how good it works! Drawback is that the free cartons will eventually be empty, but I guess you can just add new ones via "showhiddenobjects"?

I personally prefer using a retail store instead of a restaurant, atleast for ice cream only shops, since you have to put some non-ice cream on the restaurant menu as far as I am aware (correct me if I am wrong). If you want to create an ice cream parlor + pizzeria type of lot, you're better of with a restaurant though.

Its a yes for me. LOL Great idea, awesome pics. Soft serve would be cool. It would be a nice after school job too.
