ASYLUM CHALLENGE - CHAPTER 7 - ARRIVAL - PART 5

The door opened and in walked a robot.

The robot surveyed the room and then looked intently at Snow White. Suddenly, some of the lights on his suit started blinking.

Rusty: "The temperature in this house is too hot. I need to get to a cooler place or my circuits will overload."

Snow: "Oh....I'm so sorry...I don't know where the thermostat is. Maybe you should go in the backyard. It might be cooler there."

Rusty: "Yes, a good plan. I will go there now. If you could please show me the way."

Snow: "Yes, of course. I'll come with you. I'm Snow White by the way and I live here."

Rusty: "My name is Rusty and I am a robot."

Snow: "It's nice to meet you, " she said as they went into the backyard.

Rusty stood still for a moment, "If I am keeping you from anything, you may go. I am used to being alone."

Snow: "No, I don't have anything to do right now so I can stay here until you cool down."

Rusty looked at Snow,  "I fear that it is not the house itself that is making my circuits hot."

Snow: "Maybe it's the weather. I...um...I feel a bit hot myself actually..." she replied as she looked into Rusty's eyes. Snow had never met a robot before, nor a teen boy for that matter, and just the sight of Rusty made her cheeks feel hot.

They stood like that for several minutes gazing into each other's eyes, until Don came over from speaking with the guards.

Don shouted to her: "Snow! Shanda isn't leaving anytime soon. She's stuck here like the rest of us. She huffed off and headed to the bedrooms, but it's all good...."

Snow looked away from Rusty embarrassed and spoke to Don, "Oh, I am so glad to hear that. Maybe then you will have a chance to talk with Shanda so things can be right between the two of you again..."

Don: "Yeah, I'll try," he said. Don then noticed a robot teen eyeing Snow rather intently, "Oh, and who is this?" he asked.

Snow: "This is Rusty. He told me that his circuits nearly got overheated because the house was too hot and so we came out here."

Rusty: "I am fine now, Snow, thank you for your help." And with that, Snow gave Rusty an autonomous hug.

Snow: "Alright, I am going to prepare some food for everyone, and I'll try to find that thermostat. Don, will you stay with Rusty and make sure he is okay?"

Don: "Yes, Princess, I'll stay with him and Rusty and I will have a little chat."

As Snow went back inside, Rusty continued to stare after her.

 Don turned to Rusty, "Oh that was a slick line my robot friend to get Snow out here alone with you. But, listen, I don't care who or what you are, but I know one thing. You're a teen boy with raging hormones and Snow is a teen girl who is very sweet and innocent. And if I see you making any robot moves on her, I'll make sure your circuits are permanently out. You got that?"

Rusty: "I don't know what you mean. I have never had this happen before. I met Snow at the door and suddenly my circuits became hot. I will do a self-diagnostic test to ensure I am in good working order."

Don: "You do that, and if you can tolerate water, a cold shower will work, too. And now I have to find Emilia and see if she likes basketball players...but just remember, I'll be keeping my eye on you...."

Rusty was left alone in the backyard and thought to himself, "Snow is certainly a fine human sim. And did Don call her a Princess? My circuits are feeling hot again just thinking about her. I have never felt this way before. I must run the self-diagnostic test now or I will surely overheat. Ah, Snow...what have you done to me?"

Notes:

The following pop-ups occurred.

During their conversation outside, Snow and Rusty were doing a lot of autonomous hugs. And it looks like Snow White has her first friend. And they have Good Compatibility! Could this lead to something else?
