  • Love it! Just think of the cosplay costuming possibilities. Or becoming that awesome person everyone lines up to get to sign their stuff.
  • I would like an every geeks paradise and have dual, triple, multi screen computer, gaming rigs
    my dream:

  • I like this idea a lot!

I also like the idea of sims changing into cosplay when attending a convention.

Sims could also host book signings at their house (not just for comic book authors, but regular writers as well). Just like party, wedding, or date objectives, your sim would have to sign a certain number of copies and socialize with sims, or else they'd lose part of their fan base (and, thus, earn less money on their published books).

However, I think drowning your sim's assistants or partners might be a little much. By firing them, your sim could also climb the corporate ladder by taking credit for all the work and earning the full royalties (instead of having to split it between the two sims).
  • Conventions sound awesome so long as they're not rabbit hole type things.
  • You can't forget YouTube! How dare you forget YouTube!
Considering that Gaming Channels are the rage of the site as of late, it only makes sense they would make a nod to the ever growing amount of Let's Play Channels.

    > Professional Game Design: Think of it like Game Dev Tychoon. You start up your own game development company, choose a name, and start developing games. You can spend time researching technologies to improve graphics, sound, mechanics, story, pick game genres, make sequels, make critical choices along the way in terms of responding to various real-world issues like piracy or other gaming controversies, and your choices affect the perception of your studio and how well your games are received. You can choose to self-publish your game, or find a publisher to sponsor your studio, and make tough choices between sticking to your principles, or selling out. You'll be able to buy, and upgrade a building, hire developers, fire developers, have affairs with developers, or maybe even drown other developers. You'll even be able to set up booths at conventions to promote your games, or unveil new ones. Eventually you'll even be able to start research development on your very own console, or maybe publish the next most popular mmorpg or moba game. Will you become the most famous Game Studio in all of the simverse, go down as the worst, or simply fade into obscurity?

    > Comic Artist: For the more artistic sims, you can put your painting and writing skills to work to become a comic book artist, much like Game Design, you'll be able to choose between self-publishing, or finding a publisher. You'll be able to choose the genre of comics you draw, hire assistants, fire assistants, have affairs with assistants, or even drown your assistants. You will also be able to set up booths at conventions like game developers, sign other sims' comics, and sell limited-addition prints. If you're an artist, but not much of a writer, you can team up with a writer sim, or vise versa, and make comics as a team, have disagreements over the artistic direction of your comics, and drown your partner. Can you climb the ladder to become the most famous cartoonist there ever was?

    > New Activity: Gaming Convention. Along with game developer sims being able to set up booths, other nerd sims will be able to attend those conventions as well. This is a great place to socialize for geek sims, get their hands on limited edition merch, and meet their online guild-mates, or idolized game devs, bloggers, and comic artists.

    > New Venue: Arcade. Do you want to leave your house, but you don't want to stop playing video games? Why not hit up the arcade for some fun with your geek friends, or that special, nerdy someone?

    > Naturally, there would be tons of gaming themed items to go along with this. Tons of arcade machines, posters, video game consoles, computers, clutter, etc.
