@Cynna, thank you! Yes, I'm frustrated that my sims from Asia, Africa, Australia, South America, and from various tribes in Central and North America, cannot display historic paintings and photographs of their ancestors...because there aren't any.
It's a cultural/ethnic blind spot on the part of EA.
I've read that the SimGurus respond more readily to Twitter suggestions, but I'm not on Twitter. Would those of you who also lament the lack of cultural diversity in base-game portraits who are also on Twitter be so kind as to make this request on the appropriate SimGuru's Twitter feeds (or whatever the correct term is!)?
I'd tag one here, but I don't know which one would be the most appropriate to name.
