You don't have to play the negative aspirations as downright evil. Maybe balance it out:
- The gang leader who deeply cares for his minions and wishes the general population no ill, but really cannot stand the rival gang to the point of beating them up on sight. (My Villareal are like this.)
- The Goofball who doesn't know where it stops to be funny and tries to mend every damage he did.
- Workplace rivals, either two individual sims or maybe two departments against each other. As in the first example, these sims would only ever target a small group of other sims, but behave civilly, even nice, most of the time. (My detective sims fall into this category.)
- The undercover agent who is in the criminal career to destroy the organized crime from within. At first he follows the Public Enemy aspiration to keep up the pretense, but in time finds the line to blur, finds mean interactions increasingly more fun and has a hard time recovering his old personality.
