Himiko, Great Grandmother of Miyuki Yukihane and Mt. Komorebi's Summit Shrine
Former Empress Himiko Yukihane was the last royal to perform the ancient ritual atop Mt. Komorebi, Using her frost powers to lull the volcanic dragon spirit back to sleep. She died in the attempt, but returned from death after drinking a mysterious Immortality Potion. Coming back to life after dying over a century ago as a young adult has the unusual side effect of her now being biologically younger than her own elderly son Yukihiro. She is about the same biological age as her Great-Granddaughter Empress Miyuki Yukihane. At the Summit of Mt. Komorebi the site where she had died and several of her predecessors a shrine was erected. This shrine was built to honour their memories and spirits and to act as a refuge for those ascending the mountain summit. Here hikers and climbers may spend some time to recuperate before descending down the mountain. The shrine is also connected to the Cuckoo Clock/Secret Passageway Network so Royals and those who know may visit it at any time provided they have a link to another secret passageway.
