how about a islands pack,

Island Living , which came out a few months ago, adds the island world, Sulani. I believe it's meant to be based on some Polynesian islands instead of Hawaii though.

Island living was great but want I still want is a beach themed vacation world with resorts and hotels!

I would love to see a hotel venue type added to the game - more varieties of buffet tables, a front desk for reservations check in, room service, reservable doors with one bed required per door, placeable elevators, the ability to define group rooms and private rooms. We already have a beach world, once the hotel venue type was added, this lot could be added to Sulani. I would love to see an Alpine vacation world with a ski lift, ski lodge, snow sledding/tubing, snowball fight object, snow fort or igloo, and maybe some ice caves to tour.

Vacation worlds need to end there should be a hotel, camping and ski lodge lot type if we ever get that and the worlds all be regular residential neighborhoods where your Sims can live. Island Living world had they added a motel feature could of been the perfect mix of both and what this game should have been set up with all along

If we get a Hotels Gamepack we can place a hotel in Sulani.

Isnt Island Living an Island pack? The pack name itself is a dead giveaway

YEAH!!

No more vacation worlds, just add it as a lot type instead and let our sims live and vacation wherever we want them to. When you live in one place, any other place can be a potential destination, after all.
Let sims live in Selvadorada! Let sims vacation in San Myshuno!
Vacation lot types would be a great way to open up for possibilities like this.

Also yeah, we already have an islands pack.

They could come out with a feature that lets us set our own lots as vacation lots by setting the venue type. That would be ideal. I still say room service (like in TS2) would be nice.
