My Polygamist Sim

I have a sim who currently has 5 wives, all living in different houses. How does this happen, you ask? Well, I started out with a female Sim who started flirting with a married Sim. Their relationship became so close that one day while he was visiting, he proposed marriage to her. She could not propose to him because the game doesn't allow that, and she did not bother to ask him to leave his first wife, but he apparently had no problem asking her.
I was curious to see what would happen, so they eloped and he moved in with her. But he didn't divorce his wife to marry her. It still shows he is married to his first wife.
So then, I decided to take it a step further and created a new female Sim who also sparked a romance with the one with 2 wives and sure enough, she shortly became wife #3. Currently, he has 5 wives, all living in their own homes in Oasis Springs. I'm going to see how far I can take this. How many wives can a Sim have?
(fyi, all Sims involved have the "player" trait so jealousy isn't a big deal.)
