My top 5 BG updates
#5 - Lawn mowers and grass
Yards needs more care.
Like vacuum cleaners but with an option to deactivate that gameplay, grass must grow in the Sims yard and like in the past games, Sims must ride it by hand or buying a lawn mower for the first time in the main series. Like vacuum cleaners, there will be more than one lawn mower to choose.
No kit, just a BG update.
#4 - Swimming pool updates
Besides water slides, I wanna see how the water of the swimming pool is rotting and Sims will refuse to swim if it's not clean. This gameplay mechanic comes from TS Freeplay and to fix that, Sims must clean the water using a leaf net, the same one from Get Together, or placing an underwater filter in the pool.
And yes, water slides are a must.
#3 - Spiral staircases
What can I say? After the ladders update, spiral staircases should be a thing soon.
There's another build feature like ceiling painting but spiral staircase is first.
#2 - Aquariums
Aquariums needs more life, literally.
A BG update should add at least 3 new normal sized aquariums to TS4 and some options for the BG bowl ones and packs ones, specificaly from Cats & Dogs and Snowy Escape.
Options like feed, clean, replace dead fishes and upgrade the aquariums with feeder or filter can work very well with this update.
Also, beign compatible with Eco Lifestyle using the dew collector water to improve the aquarium quality and using the dirty water after cleaning as both water source and fertilizer for crops.
The oversized ones from Spa Day and Dine Out doesn't need care.
#1 - Telescopes
I can also want pool tables but there's no an oversized pool table in the game, but there it is an oversized observatory like telescope.
Normal sized telescopes can come in a BG update, with a new "astronomy skill" and beign compatible with Get to Work for aliens.
Bonus track #1: Pool tables
No much to say. This thing should be added from the beggining or with Get Together.
Bonus track #2: Water heaters
More dramatism for the game please, water heaters would fit perfectly with the plumbing items, specially showers and tubs.
Like laundry items, placing a water heater should be enough to activate the gameplay mechanic.
Also, a update for Eco Lifestyle will let us place a water heater in a solar panel to reduce the energy consume.
