Sorry if this had been said already?
Every version of the Sims series has had things that reflected the world at that time. Right now, I would like to see a Youtube-type career that includes video cameras, selfie sticks, pranks, the ability to interview people on camera, and to record certain activities such as cooking, gardening, gym-activities, child-rearing, etc.
Sims in that career will always have a camera on hand in order to document what they see. Some Sims wouldn't mind cooperating. However, the camera should also cause issues with family/friends and NPCs if the camera comes out at inappropriate or inconvenient times.
Right now, one of my main Sims is a food critic/food blogger. However, I don't have the accompanying equipment and activities to help flesh out the career. I would love to have her create a cooking channel, based in her own high-rise, Fashion District kitchen. I've been faking it with a few deco objects and poses, but it's not the same.
I don't know, I think that it would be interesting to play.
Edited to add: A video camera object would could also be implemented in the journalist/writer career as well as law enforcement, I think.
