Non-family players want bunkbeds, too!
I also play some families, but my focus is on teenagers and young adult roommates (and they also party). The reason I started this thread is that I was genuinely surprised during the Tiny Living lifestream that the Gurus seem to consider bunkbeds something that only family players might want to stuff in another kid or two. Maybe I misunderstood the tone, but in any case, I wanted to chime in that I, as a non-family player, would have gotten much more out of bunkbeds than of Murphy beds. My families don't need either of those, it's the young adults that are desperate for bunkbeds.
Sure, Murphy beds on first glance have more gameplay attached to them, but I'd rather have an object that I can use in many builds to make them feel right (and also to save space).
Households and venues I where I would put them include boarding schools, sports team training camps, military barracks, youth hostels, camping lodges, prisons, space stations, exploration basecamps and last but not least that submarine that I'll need when my oceanographers have graduated.
I hope some more non-family players will agree and add their voices here for a united front!
