I am so drawn to Shaela. I think it's because she embodies qualities that I wish I had and that I want to nurture in myself: courage, strength, loyalty (well, I have loyalty), bravery.
She also has such integrity and a fascinating type of vulnerability.
I keep thinking of Chiron, the Wounded Healer. She's got that Wounded Warrior archetype going on--but there's definitely some healing energy in her, too.
(I'm only on Ch. 29, where she's starting her recovery, so there's lots more to her for me to find out.)
