Seasons Calendar

Hello Fellow Simmers

Today I was messing with the calendar adding new holidays and such. As I was doing this some of the holidays are going to be days off. As it is right now when you click for the day off it's a day off for both work / school. I wish these were split.

I would like to create a holiday for the kids where they get a day off from school but the parents still need to go to work.

Just my thoughts. What do you think?

    This makes sense because it's what happens IRL.
    Also, some jobs/careers don't get holidays off. Say you're playing out a scenario with a Sim in the medical field. Hospitals don't just shut down because it's Christmas. Somebody still needs to work. Maybe your Sim is on call during that time.

    I've noticed that you can send sims to work even if it's a holiday! I think you click on them or on the ground and the option "Go to work" will appear if it's within their work hours. Still agree that this would be a cool feature though!
