So... my earlier estimate of "late July" for a return to posting was overly optimistic. June and July have been busier than usual at my real world job, and also everything always takes longer than I think it will when I am working on these chapters.
Because of how I write, I want to have a good sized buffer of completed chapters before I start posting again. I do not work on chapters in sequential order, so at this point the state of things is:
- Chapters 28 & 29 - Done
- Chapter 30 - Waiting for cc that Therillion is making for me
- Chapter 31 - ARRRGH! (*ahem* I mean, "incomplete")
- Chapters 32 through 34 - Done
- Chapter 35 - Sort of started, vague idea what I am doing... I think
- Chapters 36 through 42 - Done
- Chapter 43 - In progress (the chapter I'm currently working on)
- Chapter 44 - Not even started
- Chapter 45 - Done
- Chapters 46 through 61 - Various states of "sort of", or not started, or nearly done, or waiting for cc that Therillion is making
- Chapters 62 & 63 - Done
- Etc.
My goal is to get finished with everything up to Chapter 46 before resuming posting, because that will give me almost a five month buffer before I would have to take another hiatus if I can't stay ahead of it. There are only six chapters I need to finish to do this.
At this point I am re-aiming for late September. But I'll let you know if that changes.
