Issues with the internet connection (and the EA app behaving funny) are just so annoying! I fully understand this also messes up with the progression of your story writing, but above all I wish you to solve the internet issues!

Thank you all for your support. Connection seems to be more stable again now (hopefully stays that way).

And... more frustrations. :angry: Therillion finally finished making one of the items I needed last night and I was so excited to finish the chapter that it goes with. But today, I am unable to open my Sims 4 game at all. Something going wrong with the EA app for me (which I already reported over on the EA Answers forum) and although I followed the instructions given to other players with the same problem, it is still not working. *sigh* *refrains from making this post into a super-long rant about how Origin worked better*. Hopefully, this is something that will get resolved quickly. Thank you for your patience.

In the meantime, because I can't get into the game to work on the story right now, I started going through some old "extras" shots, and I found these portrait shots of Ion and Reuben that I took waaaaay back (about 6 years ago) when Seventeen & Maldusk was barely even an idea, and I was just figuring out who the characters were and what I wanted to do with them. Let's call these their "audition" sessions pictures.

Underfoot is very cute. I'd happily be part of the Underfoot Fan Club, although @Ellupelluellu is most definitely the leader :D
Are the audition shots where you got your avatar from?
I love how positive Ion always is!

The EA app is an absolute disaster, 'if it's not broken don't fix it' indeed XD Ion is so darn cute ;-; and Reuben's expressions are perfect XD

@Lucy_Henley Well spotted! Yes, those "audition" shots are where I got my avatar (which I have been using since I first started posting on the forum before I had even decided to really work on this story).

@SnowBnuuy I agree. Origin never gave me any trouble at all, online or offline. The EA app regularly causes me to shout forbidden words.
I had forgotten about most of those pictures, finding them today made me grin, and remember, because both really are spot on for those characters. I think Ion's may have come from me trying out pose player to run in-game animations, but I am pretty sure I remember Reuben did all that totally on his own because he was (surprise, surprise) in a bad mood. :lol:

I actually haven't had many major issues with the EA app, apart from it not recognising all the packs I have installed a couple of times. But that's only happened to me twice (so my most recently-played Sim appears bald and/or naked depending on what they're wearing). But I've seen enough complaints about the EA app to realise that it is annoying for most people. I didn't have problems with Origin, either. I agree with @SnowBnuuy 's sentiment of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". I remember people did complain about Origin sometimes, but not to the extent as with the EA app.
