Was trying to post this in RoseMow's thread but somehow got here.
After being away from the forums for several years, I'm still trying to get used to the new forums and have just figured out how to post a new comment and not a reply. Hope you don't mind if I leave this post here as a way of reintroducing myself.
Hope you're doing well. After several on and off again sessions of not playing Sims, I came back to the game last November while looking for a new job. I began by rebuilding my former Valley Ventures game by using some of my old households from over the years, mixed with new random and households I created for the 'orphaned' Sims (due to accidental deaths of their parents). I currently have one household in each world up to Ciudad Enamorada.
As my main game save filled up, I created a second game using my updated Simself , Grace Ford which uses my middle name and last part of my last as the founding household. Recently I created a third save to focus more on using the random button in CAS when choosing preferences and turn ons and offs. I still play using an 'As-it-Happens/Randomly Coordinated style.
Besides updating many of my previous builds to fit the decor preferences of my older households, I have been experimenting with using House plans designs I find online as a base for new builds, especially for the main floors and then figure out the upstairs and basements accordingly. Hopefully I can share them with you.
So that I can do this, can you tell me how to post in the new forums both in threads and how to create my own. I tried to create one before but I think I did it wrong.

Thanks for the info When I first tried to post, I kept getting a message that it couldn't post due to some 'url' issue but it finally worked. I have several new builds and rooms in my gallery that have been done since coming back to the game. Most of them are decorated according to the 'decor style preferences of my Sims and their favorite colors. you can check them out and give me some feedback. Sorry that the game doesn't always share the best views of the rooms.
