Life is so exciting right now, I recently moved into my first house with girlfriend, Sofia Pancake. She is currently studying her last years at university, whereas I just got my first job as a police officer. I'm so nervous, the morning before work I make I get a quick jog and have a hearty breakfast. I'm sure I going to have a very busy first day!

Why am I so nervous? The first few days involved a lot of learning procedures to follow, taking online tests, updating filing and taking photos of evidence at crime scenes. My first case was a robbery at a local bar, I come here regularly so was happy to help find the criminals who did this.

My most nerve wracking task was at the end of the week, I was given some evidence samples to test that I really didn't want to mess up, otherwise I might destroy it and let the criminal get away with it. Luckily I managed to find some DNA in the sample, so we are currently searching for the suspect. I also had to take fingerprints of this older women, who was actually really pretty, which made me very nervous. I think she was definitely flirting with me at one point, but don't tell Sofia, she gets very jealous!
At the end of my first week, my younger brother Jason came over for a few beers and to watch the football game. Overall I had an exciting first week in my new job, fingers crossed I earn a promotion soon.
