Staircases - Rooms with the new staircase tool!

Since I challenged myself to make a 4x4 build, I made use of plenty of the stairs. Here's the kitchen (yay for basements ;))

Ohh...after looking at it, I decided to change it. LOL

I created a house based on Edna Mode's house in TS3. I also brought it over to TS4.

The one thing that bothered me was the stairs.
Edna's home has an L-shape stair case. I settled for this in TS3.

I used cheats to create one...

I stuck with the same straight stair in TS4...

I used the moveobjects cheats to place windows next to the stairs.


It should be fun to go back to all my TS4 homes and see how custom stairs can improve them.

I love how easy they seem to be to use. I’m really excited to go back into some of my builds and fix up the stairs a bit as well. It’s a really cool feature.

The stairs are my favorite thing ever. They just make my heart soar with every build lol. Seriously though, they're everything.

I'm loving the stairs. I just made this simple little arrangement for going upstairs or down to the basement:

This is reminding me that I should save all my staircase configurations so I can plop them down in a pinch. :)

I love what I am able to do with the stairs now. Here are a few changes with the stairs. I didn't get the before shots.

A community lot in Del Sol Valley - Orchid A Go Go. I always hated how the end of the stairs was right at the wall.

Nice seeing all things people build but I am not really a builder so to me stairs are just stairs and probably won't do much with them.
