Since Peggy had no more memory of her last visit to the Chocolate Museum, she was still viewing Coco as a nice person and wanted to help her. Cue the (temporarily moved in) restaurant critic the Reeds befriended when they were running the food cart!
Peggy: “A food critic! This place is just so perfect, everyone should know about it! It’s my Christmas gift for you.”
Coco: “What if my food doesn’t pass?”
Peggy: “Haha, no way! It’s good, I can tell, because my dad is a great cook!”
Just what Coco “needed” now… a professional scrutinizing her manipulated chocolate delights… Great. Just great. Even mindwiped that family was such a pain in the backside! Coco understood now why Nancy wanted the Reeds on her side.
It’s rare to get a dish that is labeled “normal”, rarer still an actually “bad” one. So when would be the perfect time to produce a bad dish? Right. When the restaurant critic is in your house.
Coco: “I don’t think I can take any more of those “gifts”.”
Restaurant Critic: “May I have another one of those “Planter Pot cupcakes”, please? I need to know what they are supposed to taste like before I can grade them.”
Coco: “Huh? What’s this? Granting second chances?”
Daniel: “Of course. There’s always a second chance.”
Coco: “Are you people for real?!”
Restaurant Critic: “It’s not that I’d forget the mishap, that will influence the final score. But we don’t label a neighborhood with just a single burglary per year “crime ridden” either, so it’s only fair that I get an idea of how commonly your restaurant messes up a dish.”
