The Senior Year Challenge
Just a quick challenge I came up with. Completely untested, so I have no idea how well it will work, but I thought I’d share it anyway. Enjoy!
The Senior Year Challenge
Required Packs:
High School Years
Recommended Packs:
Seasons
Parenthood
Create a family of two sims or more, with at least one sim YA or older and one teenager. This does not have to be a parent, but if Parenthood is installed, they must be assigned as the teen’s caregiver. Feel free to add a second parent, siblings, grandparents, pets, whatever you can think of.
Next, set the season to fall and move your family into a lot; I recommend using the freerealestate cheat if you don’t want to live in a starter home. You can also use money cheats and build a house on an empty lot. Once your sims are moved in, feel free to edit all sims (besides the one you will be playing as) using cheats. You can promote them, give them skills, reward traits, etc. Choose wisely, because you won’t be able to play as them again until you complete the challenge.
Finally, set your household money to $50. This is your teen’s ‘allowance’ for the week. Keep a close eye on this number, and make sure to have a calculator handy. If another sim in the household receives a paycheck, cheat away the money. You can always cheat the money back in order to replace broken objects or those lost due to fire, or to pay the bills.
From now on, you can only control your chosen teenager as you take them through their senior year of high school. Each ‘prom’ is a different seasonally themed dance: Homecoming, Winter Ball, and Spring Fling. Remember to keep a close eye on your money, and have fun!
