the sims 4 needs stores to buy groceries or clothes
i know there's an option to change clothes in sims 4 but no way of buying new clothes or groceries, we need to bring back the sims 2 way of buying food or clothes.

I agree. I was VERY disappointed that we don't have the TS2 style shopping for clothes. There could have always been an 'unlock all clothing' cheat for those who wanted it.
