- Peapod795 years agoSeasoned AceJust make sure that you post the challenge, you say it's not fully play tested. This way too, you can also get input and it helps with your play testing too!
- jojoMOMSTER5 years agoSeasoned AceThank you @izbthnndgld and @camkat! You’re right the collaboration aspect is a ton of fun!
- Maybe you can convince some friends to test it with you? Or players don't really mind playing with rules in progress (this is actually real and a huge blessing and curse on another forum I work on lol)
- EuphorialQueen5 years agoHero (Retired)@JojoMOMSTER As long as each component of the challenge has an achievable goal posting while testing is quite alright. Making it clear that it is in the testing phase and rules may be subject to change is important.
Play styles vary so getting feedback can make the challenge even better and more interesting to play.
My pet peeve is sharing without ever intending to play the challenge themselves.
This does not happen often but is frustrating especially if the basic idea is good but some goals just cannot be done.
EQ - jojoMOMSTER5 years agoSeasoned AceThank you!
@InfraGreen I like your idea! I could probably invite people to test and share along with me and let me know how it goes in the challenge thread.
@EuphorialQueen Yes, I know which challenges you mean by that. I kind of wonder when I see those too. Since this challenge is rotational play on one long life span and each couple has their own goals but the whole thing is pretty open ended I’m not sure I need to worry as much. It’s comparing Sims quality of life between a couple that works their way up straight out of high school and a couple that goes to university and starts their career at a higher pay grade but with higher expectations. The only thing is the point tally at the end to see which life path you played more successfully. Its like you’re rooting for both sides and seeing who will win. But yes, If it’s not achievable those pieces will need to be adjusted. - jojoMOMSTER5 years agoSeasoned AceOk, here we go!! Challenge Link

Love this idea! Discover University degrees do offer significant career boosts.
I am excited to see how this works out. <3
Reminder: While playing in rotation be sure to complete any degrees before going to the next household. I suspect you may have already figured this out.
My comment is directed at players who do not realize what happens.
:star: Going to go check out the link. :star:
