This is really a great idea! An Achievement Overhaul is much needed! I hope EA/Maxis add your idea to the game, I really like the in-game achievements, I just think they shouldn't be per save, they should be in general tied to the whole game and the Achievement System should  check our achievements within the Main Menu, rather than per save. The achievement Icon inside the notebook is really that what we all want, and also on the main menu the little icon! I love your Icons you did a great work on Photoshop!
