I am addicted to gardens and I would love some new themed botanical kits (like the Romantic Garden). For example, a North American Prairie kit with Rudbeckia (already a debug plant) Echinacea, Helenium, Asters, California poppies (another debug) and Calamagrostis grass tufts; a far east garden kit with small Acers in burgundy, orange and green, Itoh peonies, Japanese anemones, Chrysanthemums, black stem bamboo clumps, camellias and tulip and stellate Magnolia trees. A cottage garden gems with herbaceous peony's, foxgloves (a debug plant), catmint, campanula, aquilegia and climbing clematis arches, with lilac shrubs. These all build on and complement existing planting and landscapes.

Title: 🌦️ Idea: Bring back automatic seasonal decorations like in The Sims 3!
Message:
Hey Simmers! 💚
I really miss a feature we used to have back in The Sims 3 — the ability to create different sets of decorations for each season right in Build/Buy Mode.
You could decorate your house once for all four seasons, and the game would automatically switch between them as the weather changed. It was such a small thing, but it made a huge difference — your Sims’ homes always felt alive and festive!
I think it would be amazing to have this feature in The Sims 4. It would save so much time (no need to redecorate everything over and over again every season!) and would keep the motivation to create cozy, seasonal interiors without getting burned out.
Anyone else miss this? 🌷☀️🍁❄️

- The thing I want the most is a blank beach world template. The very few worlds we have with accessible beaches and beach lots have a specific style. I have dreams of making a charming coastal town with cute cottages and restaurants. We could honestly use a couple of blank world templates, but I want a beach one most of all. I would be willing to pay for it.
- I would love an easy way to take a family photo, something like the photo booth from Sims 3, or the ability to hire a photographer.
- I would love a costume category in CAS. Sims could change into their costume from this is you make a costume holiday using Seasons.
- I wish Sims had favorite foods and disliked foods that would give them either a positive or negative moodlet.

Related to the idea of hairstyles with adjustable lengths, you could also have hair grow, and get longer on its own. Maybe Sims could get haircuts to get their hair lengths back to normal. Or maybe it would just grow for a while, then get shorter again, then repeat the cycle without a visit to the barber or salon.
I included the ability to adjust the height of Sims in my wishlist. For kids, maybe they could gradually grow instead of making big jumps when they age up. So for example, a toddler could start at the low end of toddler height, then grow over time to the high end of toddler height, then age up to a child at the low end of child height (which would be similar to the high end of toddler height). Teens could start just a little taller than a tall child, and end up almost adult height before aging up to a young adult.
And then on top of this, the height of an individual Sim could be adjusted, so we could have short Sims and tall Sims and everything in between. (When I created Sims versions of my wife and me, it was annoying that they were the same height, when I'm almost a foot taller than my wife IRL.)

Each hairstyle should have adjustable lengths. Using a slider to adjust the length from short to long the same way we adjust the voices from high pitched to lower toned.
it would also be great to have a size adjustment due to the fact that not it’s very rare to have men and females the same exact sizes. Little people should be an option as well.

I would love to have a smaller version of the Hedgerow fence. Something I can use as I do the Smooth Keeper fence, i.e. for outlining flower beds, but it is instead a hedge the size of the fully shrunk starter hedge. I used a bunch of those to make the garden of my 1.5 mil simoleon mansion and it glitched my game tremendously!
I'm attaching a screenshot below :) The goal is in the front and you can see the very unfortunate glitch further back, at the very right of the picture.

A "chosen family" mark would be game changing. Just a simple "view as family" option in the relationship dialog menu that turns off romance between two sims permanently like any genetical family member, and that could be turned off the same way. It would add so many more family dynamics, it could be used in many ways : have real in-laws who don't fall in love every 3s, have an elder consider an unrelated adult as their child, have two sims consider each other as siblings or even best friends who would never flirt in any way, etc.
Seems simple to me, and would add on the "stay friends" feature which isn't permanent.

🤽 Hanging out at swimming pool
Club , Small Business, Getaway and Custom Venue need a "Hang out/Socialize at pool" activity.
Swimming pool shouldn't be only about "Swimming" (Pool party, nightclub)

Something that can only go in a Quality of life improvement category - can we actually see the name of a sim that dies? I only get the sad moodlet or the sorry for your loss pop-up but than I'm left wondering which one of my 200 random acquaintances/friends died...
