A couple of things....

I thought I would take my sim to the park with the home chef hustle sales table. The plan was to set up with the waffle maker and the pizza oven but when we got there it was raining. Why isn't there an awning that a sim could put in their inventory then place over the sales table so that rain wouldn't bother the electrical equipment? Which leads me to why isn't there some type of awning or pavilion for city living geek con festival? It is real irritating to go and discover it is raining so all the electrical and electronic equipment is broken due to rain? Why should my sim have to have a weather device just to change the weather? After all I've been to RL concerts where they covered the instruments in plastic and played anyway. Sure there are a great many things I would love to have in the game but these things I feel are very important and necessary. Thanks for listening.

  • I agree. The option to turn off weather effects is nice.

For realism computers shouldn't be outside on a desk in the rain..

I love all the weather effects in this game and realistically if I walk to my neborhood hotdog stand and it's a rainy Spring afternoon...I'm gonna get a hotdog and eat it in the rain.

I don't need an awning but technology dose...🫠🙂

  • Another thing...

We need awnings over outdoor activities...

Protect Our Businesses form the Weather...

It's really the Landords duty to install weather guards.. just gotta turn off your weather and it will be forever beautifully in your world...not a good solution though.

Edit: This is not a bug. You can control outdoor weather with events.

The weather sytem needs to be updated...maybe by the Calendar  and Weather forcast in game. Outdoor events only happen on sunny /cloudy days... no rain or snow.  Just like in the real..☺️
