Hello!
Like advertised in this blogpost, i tried to have a dog training park elemination where those with the lowest petskill are kicked out. There are mulitple issues with this advertized feature however.
(proof of it being advertized)
Getaways Galore in The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack (link to the article from EA)
So the first issue is, there is no way to eliminate sims via other skills other than cooking, writing/painting, and romance/friendship. Which is disappointing as we have many other skills we couldve used for this system.
The second issue is, if you were to host a getaway on a custom dog build venue...No dog shows up to train with. So your sims stand around and kinda do nothing, because no dog is programmed to show up to begin with! Am I doing this wrong? Am i just overseeing something? I hope so :( when they talked about this feature i was so excited and now it turns out we cannot actually do what was promised to us?
There's one dog there, and I know the getaway looks bad, but thats because this is just a test getaway. (i suspected this wouldnt work, sadly)) No dogs show up, besides my own dog, who I had to invite because the vacation system automatically kicks dogs/pets from joining.
i so so hope this can be fixed :(
Edit By Crinrict: correct tag to fit conventions. Adjusted title
Edit by Kath: It's kinda horrible how this feature which should be included in our game that we paid money for, is moved to feedback, making it seem like i'm making it all up or something. Deeply disappointed, but sadly not that surprised.
Still testing this to see if I can get any additional information. When I stay on the lot (we're at 5 days now lol).. around 1 two npcs dogs (not strays) will zone in, but they leave as soon as they are greeted by a sim.
The same sims stay on the lot or return right after leaving if they're on the brink of a visit with Grim. No pets have zoned in.
When I actually delete the sims who originally spawn, new sims do come to the lot, but like the first batch they have the "pet owner" tag but do not come with pets or actually are in households with pets.
