About the Caribbean representation for The Sims 4?
As long as I don't give up while I'm calm and on or not on a break from The Sims 4 while playing Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, here's an explanation!
After 7 years since Island Living, Caribbean foods, a world based on the Caribbean islands, and a reggae station has been lacking for way too long after we already got some Oceanian and Portuguese foods that were exclusive to Island Living, Adventure Awaits, and Royalty & Legacy, the worlds featuring Hawaiian/Polynesian-inspired Sulani, New Zealand-inspired Gibbi Point, and Portuguese-inspired kingdom neighborhood Verdemar, and two music stations between island radio from Island Living and Afrobeats from Royalty & Legacy.
In that case, Puerto Rican rice, Jamaican beef patties, Caribbean chicken curry, Caribbean macaroni pie, Barbadian fried flying fish, Cuban sandwich, Bahamian baked crabs, etc., a Caribbean-inspired world with two or three neighborhoods, and a reggae station have been requested by me in 7 years since I've been seeing the speculation of Island Living back in Q1-Q2 of 2019.
Please y'all! Now that it is June 2026, I'm still waiting and waiting even if I'm counting on the upcoming update patch, because June is also National Caribbean-American Heritage Month.
Since the update is coming on June 30th, 2026, if we're not gonna get anything for The Sims 4 centered around my culture, I'm gonna cry once more right before my birthday next month.
Thank you!
Happy National Caribbean-American Heritage Month (And Pride Month too!)!
13 days until the update patch for June 30th, 2026
