Base Game Suggestion- Choose last name opition after marriage

Hello! I honestly believe Sims 4 should already have different options for sims to choose their last names after marriage. Sims should decide if they want to keep their last name and have their spouse change it, change their last name to have the same name as their spouse, or have no change at all. It also fits with the theme of The Sims 4 Lovestruck Expansion Pack. Hopefully, EA will give us this option in the future.

@Zhongven01 you have control over that in your game already. All you need to do is go into Create a Sim via a mirror or dresser using Change Sim and alter their name after marriage. In Manage Households you can also edit their family name for their household as well.
I usually add a hyphenated name for my Sims after they are married. The box in CAS could do with being a little larger though to fit longer double barrel surnames after marriage. But you can at least change the name at any point if you want.

I know we can do that already, but I think there should be an option after the Sim's marriage. Like when there's a pop-up text telling if you want to move in with your spouse. Besides, I don't always want to open CAS.

@Zhongven01 I see so something a bit like the pop up we get when there's a child or pet adoption or when there's a birth so you can just type in the surname if you wanted it.

I'm also finding that married couples have to have the same last name. So even if I change them to have their original last names before they married, when I load back into the household, they've changed to update the female sim's last name to the male's last name. I really dislike that it defaults to always changing the female sim's last name. It's a very old fashioned way of doing things.
