There's a bit more building exterior customisation with some of the occult packs in particular. But lately I've been using more debug items to do more with landscaping and exterior design. So if you haven't taken a look through the debug catalogue I'd recommend that. There's much more landscaping choice in particular and a lot can be done with shrinking items and using the move objects cheat. So things like placing debug plants into pots for example. I've done this with my version of Nookstone in the Gallery.

Incase you haven't used it it's, bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects to access the debug items in the cheat bar.
