[BY DESIGN] [CAS] [CL] Hair underneath turban defaults to dark colour

The durags, for all ages, that were added in an SDX a while ago don't allow the hair colour to be changed. They either show black baby hairs or black stubble depending on the feminine or maculine style chosen.

I expect them to work the same as the babushka scarf from the base game update and the Growing Together head scarf. You can pick the scarf design in the hat section and you can still change the hair colour in the hair section.

All of the affected assets have 'Hat_SDX005Durag' in their names.

If you apply any of the head wraps from City Living, you lose the ability to change the Sims' hair colour. It will always appear brown even if you have a different colour selected.

The Sims in the pictures all have red hair selected.

When City Living released it came with a selection of headwraps for Adult and Child Sims.

All of the fabric swatches use the same dark brown hair colour no matter what the Sims' actual hair colour is. This makes their use very limiting.

While this can technically be classed as 'by design' as it is how things functioned at the time of their creation, it no longer falls in line with later CAS assets of a similar design that have since been added in later packs. I'm very surprised nobody ever went back to update them.

Growing Together introduced the Babushka head scarf which allows the selection of hair colour independant of scarf swatch and there have been other examples of this released since.

I created default replacements for these assets in 2023 so I know that it is technically possible to update them to work with the current system the game uses.

I just noticed today that when my Sim goes to work with the hard hat on her hair and the hat turn solid black and when I change her outfit when she gets home it goes back to normal.

I have read what SimGuruJill has said about this turban and I fully understand that it technically isn't a "bug", but I do think that there is something wrong here.(https://twitter.com/SimGuruNick/status/1004040016090181632?s=20) Sims should have the ability to wear said turban while having different hair colors. Whether that's by changing the system or making the turban for all the hair options. I would even say that this turban would be better if the turban colors were tied to the hair colors. 

I believe this is unfortunately by design, it was addressed by a Sim Guru awhile back if I recall correctly.

What do you expect to see? The color of hair under the hijabs and turbans being the correct color.

The color of hair under the hijabs and turbans from the City Living expansion pack is a light brown with each hijab and turban and with each color.

That doesn't make sense. You can change swatches for all of the other hats and still keep the correct hair color
