It will work but as soon as I hand it in the new sim becomes the permanent host. I think I have found that it is an issue with them joining careers because it keeps happening when I join the reaper career she does too. It might have the do with the neighbourhood stories being turned on for the other rabbit hole jobs.
@RogueIvyH - It's not Neighborhood Stories. I've had mine disabled for years now and also have gotten multiple Ghost Hosts. I wonder if it's because ghosts are only semi-permanent, as wandering/nonplayable ghosts have always disappeared during the day (which is likely why they don't show up on our "Travel with..." lists.)
