Can we get a setting to disable ALL in-game advertising?

Every time I open sims 4, it bombards me with info regarding the marketplace. Personally, I will NEVER click of that feature what-so-ever. I want a setting that will disable ALL the advertising of that new feature. If I purchase something for the game, it will only be via the EA app BEFORE ever opening my game.

  • EA will never go for it, they’ve proven to be quite money hungry

QueenSaraphine, I did not mind the first one, but now it is pushingly "advertising" whatever they want to highlight for the month/week. I find that unnecessary, especially since I refuse to even click to look at the marketplace. They also made me angry that the old way of disabling packs no longer works. Apparently, they want use to click on the marketplace to disable the packs too. I am still refusing to interact with that whatever.

  • I've gotten so used to that popup by now that it doesn't really bother me that much, what really annoys me is the constant text popup for kits from the shopping cart when you're in live mode. Mainly cause I already own the kits the text refers too. And it pops up in front of the notifications so I always have to pause to hover over the text before I can read what the notification said about what just happened in my game. It's frustrating beyond words. The game should recognize what packs you own and don't give you advertisement for those. Just plainly don't advertise any packs when you're in live mode please. It makes gaming an unfun experience.
