Sorry but I'm not giving up until you launch this update so bear with me. I own several sims 4 DLC packs on packs on my Console (PS5) I REALLY need to transfer my DLC packs to pc pls update and support cross platform ownership. I NEED IT
fuhb20ze29hz, you also need to ask that of both Microsoft and Sony, if this is the hill you are willing to die on. It isn't just up to EA. What you are asking for isn't possible because Sony got a cut from your payment for the game. Also, the formats are not the same. What part of that is hard to understand?
I just realized this now, and the only reason why I didn't understand that issue in the first place was because I was unaware of the problem since I don't play games all day and normally don't involve myself in EA discussions
fuhb20ze29hz, I also do not play games all day. I do however search for news or updates on the game franchises that I care about and play regularly. I research before I ever purchase any game, so that is how I learned there was no cross-platform transfers. I may be the exception, but I refuse to purchase any game at launch. Although, I purchased Sims 4 about a year before it was ever offered on console. It was common-knowledge information given when Sims 4 was first marketed for console. If you look up release dates for the game content, many of the early dlc has 2 different dates which are dependent on platform.
