Hi! I think you guys should add a feature in the Dine out pack where I can be the chef at my own restaurant. I got my character all maxed out on cooking and realized after I built my restaurant that I can't run it myself. Similar to the veterinarian clinic and retail stores! Pls pls pls update so my dream can come true!!

I'm sure since the release of businesses and hobbies one would be advised to make a home built dine-in experience, but the original sentiment stands and is completely valid. The sim that owns the dine out experience should be allowed to cook, and should be seen in establishment when in another actively played household. There are areas of expansions and game packs that fail to truly think functionality through thoroughly and I don't enjoy that reality much.

My goal for my family was to be the chef of my own restaurant. I spent hours creating a beautiful lot with one side the restaurant and one side the living quarters (so I could stay on the lot without going through load screens). Only to find out after the fact, that my level 10 cooking skill household member cannot cook. Not only that but the waitress I hired on our opening day just disappeared and I can’t take anyone’s order so therefore I will make no money at all for my opening day… EA you need to fix this..

100000% agree with this. I play on console, so I can’t download any mods. I just found out now that I can’t be the chef at my restaurant , which is really disappointing…..
I would love to have this option too and to have my sim there when I visit the restaurant with other households.
I played the Sims 2 restaurant system and it was so much fun - you actually felt like your sim owned it not just worked there.
@Princessciji They do monitor these forums, but I don’t think we’re getting any more pack refreshes. Bug fixes, yes. New features, unlikely other than as new packs (or occasional base game updates).
