Forever Friends night light reward

I have got the forever friends night light reward and have placed it on the bedside table in my kids room. The problem is that the maid keeps putting it in the toybox like it is a toy and not a table lamp. It is very frustrating having to get it out every night and hope that no other sims decide to tidy up and put it away.
