Horse riding in Business and hobbies as business activity

I think a riding academy is a good idea for a business.   But you'd have to 'fudge' it a bit since the game does not have the activity you want.  yea, EA needs to add this option. It would make horses more fun to have a business about a riding academy or taking tourists on rides around town.  Be specific about what your academy needs so EA knows what to add.  If you are asking about this, many others want it too.

Yes i agree. If there is a club/business activity it could work like rest of the game activities like cooking for example. You set a business/club activity as sims ride horses then they will start riding with your horses on the lot. You will play as the horse owner. Atm you can only have horse business where horses play themselves and nobody rides them. Or sims can take care of horses. But thats not how riding schools/business works. People ride the horses too. Taking people to horse riding around the town could work as group activity already if you set a group but you cant make horse club or business out of it like that because the horse riding is not in the activity list. 

I would love for them to add this, but it would be a lot of work. Especially if it were to be made a playable career and not a rabbit hole, it would need new animations not just for our playable Sims but for NPCs as well.

Then there would be the pathways of the career/business. There are a lot of paths this could go, and in the end, we know it wouldn't please everyone.

No, this would not have to require that much work or new animations. Its just request to add horse riding as activity in a patch as club and business activity, same as rest of the skills such as gardening, cooking etc. The idea is that your sims owns a stable and horses, you start a riding club (get together) or home business (businesses and hobbies ep makes that possible). Horses can also use the barrel racing and jumping items so just add those is enough to have riding school. 

I see. This topic is not about having a playable career. Its just about to add existing skill to club and business activities. Its better than nothing. NPC:s know how to ride horses, they dont need new animations for this. NPC/Townies are already riding in the game automated if they own horses you can see them riding horses in Chestnut Ridge. Its the same way as any other skills, NPC:s will do that in your business like pottery for example. Very simple.
