It would be nice if Magic could be a bigger theme in The Sims franchise, bigger than creatures (vampires, werewolves, fairies, ...).
Magic has multiple forms :
- Elemental magic : Earth, Fire, Water, Wind
- Spiritual magic (Animal spirits and Shaman)
- Magic tools for human (Hextech in Arcane series)
- Magic food (Devil fruit in One Piece)
- Life Energy (Voodoo and Necromancy)
- Black magic (Negative energy, shadows and darkness)
- Cosmic & Astrological Magic (Celestial)
- Pact & Contract Magic (Law & Fate)
- Illusion magic & Dream
- Magic bond
- Environmental Energy (The Force in Star Wars)
Sometimes it's DNA, sometimes it's an object, sometimes it's borrowed, sometimes it's everywhere.
All that magic to bring to The Sims 4 but to do what ? To serve selfish ambitious, cause chaos, help others or just as entertainment (magician) !
I do miss the magic mirror, and wish we had more magic foods/plants/recipes. I am split between occult themes and magic themes as singulars, and usually merge the both. But to be fair most of my Sims 3, I did not play occults, but I used a lot of magic themed objects (alchemy table, soothsayers crystal ball, etc.)
