New item in BB called "Elegant Macaron Display" has no Macarons.
Should have the following recipes available as a "Grab Snack..." option.
1. Almond Macarons - Gourmet Cooking recipe, Skill Level 3
2. Berry Macaroons - "Bake Pastries" on Cupcake Machine, Baking Skill 9

I suspect it is because they didn't make a unique dessert tray for this, and just used this generic one.
You're right, the "Grab Snack..." options are identical to following BB items from the Tea Time Solarium Kit:

I personally think it is in the devs best interest to have a variety of Grab Treat/Grab Foods files (and not one generic file), so that it encourages more decorative food items to be functional (and make sense with the specific selection).

I came here because I wanted to create a bug report about this very issue. We have maracrons in the game. So why can't the macaron display add them to the options for those people who have them in the game
Here is my sim with her self baked macarons (no CC) which can only be baked but not taken from the display.
I wish we could upvote here like we can in the bug forum because I definitely would.
I think they should do a collab with Laduree for a Baking Update with a bunch of their macrons and various pastries from their Tea salon.
That's the problem there are too many decorative objects that just don't do anything. Birdbaths, Clocks, there are others but Ill leave it at that.
They need to add lemon and coconut macaroons.
These are some of the options.
