I understand the Sims 4 has some problems, but people don't realize it's a very complicated game with a lot of coding going into it.
It's not more complicated that other AAA games on the market. It's over 10 years old and less complicated than many newer AAA games. Over 1,000 bugs is unacceptable for any game.
I get tired of YouTubers who seem only to complain about what the Sims 4 doesn't have. I also get tired of the whining about people having to purchase added content. Do they suppose that EA doesn't have to pay salaries? A company that can't make a profit will go bankrupt.
If you get tired of them, you have the option not to watch their videos. They give whatever review they want about a game they purchased. You also must realize that a company that can't make a profit because they keep releasing bad products will go bankrupt.
I have pointed out that the Base Game is free to play and they keep adding free content updates to that (they don't have to). It was like complaining about the 25th Anniversary Event because they think that the prizes for the quest did have all the features they'd hoped for. Free content is always welcome to me and I enjoyed doing the quest and getting all the goodies. There are plenty of sales going on that no really has to pay full price for something if they don't think they can afford the going price.
You are missing the point of most of their complaints. You do understand EA only adds free content to keep their engagement numbers up, right? Higher engagement numbers means more money for them.
If I try to say things that are positive about the game you have the YouTube trolls who want to cut everything I say down. It seems that certain YouTube simmers only want to complain. I just wanted to vent here. I get good insights and news through a lot of the videos on the Sims 4 that I watch, I just don't know when a content provider is going to dedicate almost their whole video to complaining.
You do understand some of them complain to get views? If you don't like the video, click off. Why are you getting stressed out about what people you don't know and will never meet think about a video game?
I like this community so I can make posts about how much I love my game and have support by other users and EA. Thank you all.
Why do you need others to affirm how you feel about a video game? It's not that deep. If you like the game play it. If you don't like the game, don't play it.
