On The Road GP or if you add Motels EP- Cars, Maintenance, Car Shows, Roadside Attractions

Since this has come up on the Sims Freeplay please allow me to wade into the water and give my suggestions how Vehicles can be introduced to the Sims 4 in a way that will slightly make up for its lack of an open world. Thank You Simmer Erin for the inspiration


Features

New Garage Room Tab - so that items meant for the garage are in the proper tab instead "Outside". Add appropriate Icons for these things

  • Driveway
  • Garage Cabinetry
  • Garage Clutter
  • Garage Doors
  • Garage Shelving
  • Smoke Detector
  • Tool Box
  • Wall Clock
  • Wall Decor

New Community Lots

  • Car Wash - Rabbit hole of course
  • Dealership - New Retail Store along with the accoutrements (Front Door & Window, Signage, Printed Front Door Rug, Maybe one of those wavy Inflatables)

  • "Lover's Lane" Park - Just a small pretty park with some park benches, water fountain and a load of parking spots.

Small Details

    I must say that I have never seen pickles in a gas station shop before. :lol: Here they usually sell water, coffee and soft drinks and snacks like chocolates, biscuits, chips and icecream. They also have various car stuff items, toys, magazines and CDs with music. Maybe some souvenir type stuff like mugs or key chains. And they all sell ice, charcoal and wood for BBQ. Everything is overpriced compared to regular supermarket prices.

    Your picture is not displaying, but I googled them and found them on a site that sells candy and it appears that they are packaged like some sort of snack. Weird if you ask me, imagine struggling to open the packaging with all the pickle water inside. Also, very expensive, here you can buy two jars of regular pickles for the price of one fancy packaged pickle.

    I made a post years ago about gas stations/car lots/mechanics and also campers/rvs. It could also include them and have a large 64x64 lot with a pond in the middle for fishing and camper hookups. This would be a neat get away place.

    I really don't want a car wash to be rabbit holes like we already have a sponge and a bucket I would rather Sims wash the car I know they can't use a water hose but I would love seeing a sim scrub the car, also eating in car, sleeping in car, hanging out in car, looking at the stars or clouds in back of pick up truck or on roof. Stick out of sunroof, drive in theatre. Teens learning to drive or maybe a Sims learning to drive. Car seats for infants and toddlers.

    I’d buy this pack as well as a second pack for off road gameplay including defensive driving skills and maybe an off road driving skill, that meant you could then drive to an off road campsite with an upgraded vehicle or camper van… and stay on a camping vacation about halfway up skill level. Once you maxed the levels, you could participate in a rally…. Eg Variety Bash or Birdsville Races in Australia. Which could then include camel ride to desert and Sounds of Silence dinner and a trip to Uluṟu. So many gameplay possibilities. I’d be one of the first to sign up for pre-release of either/both of these packs.

    I did mention washing the car as an animation/Interaction. I mentioned both to give the maximum amount of possible places to take the car since we will be limited in this area.

    I don't think they will add interaction to manually wash the cars with sponge and bucket because this will need to take into account the shape and size of car. Maybe they will add one of those huge car wash systems with the huge brushes and water jets that you drive through with your car.
