According to this thread, it is expected for the player to have to click 'sit' for a sim and then once they're sitting, you click use computer interaction. However, I would love to be able to just click on the computer to have the sim use it without needing to direct them to sit. I wish they would just automatically sit.
I click on a computer task and my sim sits down and begins the task. I don't have to direct them to sit first.
I only have to direct my Sim to sit first if the computer or things around it have been placed with the move objects cheat. I have certain objects I try to place before putting moo on and the computer desk area is one of them. Otherwise the Sim has to be told to sit before they'll use their PC. It may look as if nothing is blocked but they just won't use it otherwise.
Odd. Mine is not like this and I've seen several threads like the one I linked where the team claims it's functioning as it should. But I know I used to be able to click on the computer and they would just do the task instead of needing to direct them to sit first.
Thanks, I'll check this! I just found it so odd that others are having the same problem I'm having but the team says that's how it's supposed to function. I know I used to be able to just click the computer without directing them to sit first though.
