Briana2526 you can do something like this depending on what packs you own but it has to be owned by just the one Sim, it can't have separate owners for each store. The way I do it is to create a few little shops and place some cash registers around the place and hire a few staff. My current mall has a toy shop, flower shop, geodes and crystals, snowglobes, knitted items, posters and paintings, Simmis and MySims, Sulani and Jungle treasures, shells, Werewolf relics and Tartosan bottles and more. They are all divided into little different colour shops. There's a food court but I have to hire stallholders when working there or shopping there. There's also an ice rink in the courtyard and a fountain as well as seating and picnic tables. 👛
I created mine with Get to Work retail stores. I can't tell you how long it took to set every little thing for sale, it took me soooo long! It's owned by one of my best collectors. She's also an archeologist so that was handy for all the jungle vases and gold plates and frogs. At some point I'll be adding pottery, nectar, preserves and jewellery too but I have those in other stores. A quick way to do it is to copy rooms from existing retail lots, although that doesn't work with florists as the copied flower arrangements look like twigs. But bouquets do copy just fine. I copied the knitted items, some fabricated items, paintings and bouquets by copying rooms from another store and adding them to the mall from my library. So if you have some existing stores you could try this method to create a mall quickly.
It's one of my favourite projects that I've done. I really enjoyed making my mall. It's in Newcrest as part of a wider development. It gets very busy indeed. It's also handy for my Sims to go shopping there to brighten up their homes with collectables.🛍️
