Someone here who doesn't like how many male sims in gallery look too masculine?

Self-explanatory,but you get the point.

people uploading default sims is a form of archiving
last i checked the game is bugged and prevents all of the default npc pets from spawning when you create a new save file
i had to search the gallery to find them to put them back
theyve also done changes to sims like the Goth family and some people want to mess around with the old versions of the characters

  • why on earth are you bumping your month old thread about how you don't like what other players do with their own sims
this isnt feedback on the game or an idea for how the game could be different, you are complaining about how other people play

  • A few years ago I managed to come up with what I consider to be a pretty "manly man" character and play it almost exclusively. I have made a few others such as an old man (like me) or others that are as masculine as I can make them based on the (lack of) manly clothing available.

  • Many seem to not actually know what men look like these days anyway.  Might be all that anti man stuff in social media, dunno!

Personally, it's all the rather silly uploads of default ingame characters that annoy me. We get those same characters in every new game we start anyway, why upload them to the gallery?

  • Curious, are you talking about Maxis/EA made or player made? I mean you can't tell other players what to add to the gallery.

I personally, prefer lanky androgenous to slightly leaning muscular masculine males. But I avoid the gallery as I do not like CC nor inconsistency in Sim looks (I like the Maxis/EA style with a twist of my own style).

  • I haven't noticed that, but maybe it is because I am not into feminine-looking males. If there is a face of a male sim you like, you can always choose a different body style. I often do that much if I am wanting a male to have a what I call a dad-bod instead of looking too slim or extra muscular.
